Responding to urbanisation and development trends in the 21st Century, Chan & Shahriman Arkitek has embarked in mixed residential highrise following the high demand of rising population of urban dwellers in city centers. Such development is focused on allowing flexibility and conveniences required by the dynamic lifestyles of the urban dwellers as well as provide developers with a degree of business flexibility to cater 24 hour activity in the building. Forms of housing are designed to mediate between natural and built environments. The vertical blocks configuration allow for cross-ventilation and give all the apartments a variety of views to the sea and across the city incorporating ecological strategies making up for the density by quickly-developing societies in cities.
